Find It Locally – Community Related Marketing

Find It Locally is building an Australian National Network of 1500 Community Related Marketing Marketeers

Matching  STUDENT MARKETEERS alongside
‘Find it Locally – Community Related Marketing’
to support local Not-for-Profits & Charities

With Find It Locally & the FundRise Project

Student Marketeers for Find it Locally and FundRise Project are students of marketing who would like to:

► exercise their marketing skills

► gain experience in the industry

► achieve professional recognition in their chosen community

► support a worthy Not-for-Profit

This will be achieved through running a ‘Local Community Notice Board’ service designed to support a chosen local community ‘zone’. The zone can be chosen by the student according to their preference.    Establishing the Community Notice Board ( and 4 other pages) will mean that the student is connected to, and supporting a local Not-For-Profit/Charity organisation.  If the zone does not already have a Not-For-Profit assigned to it, the student can initiate a relationship with an appropriate organisation.

Benefits of the Program :

► Achieve significant recognition, presence & trust within the community

► Attain leverage as a ‘Community Related Marketing’ consultant.

► Win future contracts and job opportunities within the community

► Have a solid body of work/evidence as a reference for future employment

► Develop an ongoing, trusted relationship with a Not-for-Profit/Charity organisation

► References from the business, local community and not-for profit sectors.

► An opportunity to develop marketing skills

► Work closely with teams, guiding and eventually training others.

► Link into many local businesses, and form relationships within the business community

Training & Guidance

Student Marketeers will be guided and trained by the ‘Find It Locally – Community Related Marketing’ trainers. The Find it Locally Team will be in close contact during the initial stages to ensure the Student Marketeer and associated Charity/Not-for-Profit are enabled and trained to establish and run the Community Notice Board.

Marketing Students are trained and guided by the Find It Locally team of trainers who will ensure that the student is well skilled at operating the Community Notice Board and all its services: Business Directory, Events Page, Online Shopping Centre, Media page and later on the Local Voucher Deals service.

FIL will monitor relationship building to ensure that all parties conduct themselves respectfully, constructively and ethically.  Ongoing support and guidance will be provided for both the student marketeer and Not-for-Profit/Charity , and support mechanisms, training and networking opportunities put into place.

This venture is overseen by FundRise Project.  (Find out more www.fundrise.org.au
